A conference room on the 20th floor of a downtown office building. Several executives are gathered. Steve, who has a slightly high-pitched, funny-sounding voice, is joining the meeting remotely via speakerphone. The executives are about to tell Steve that his product line is going to be cancelled next quarter.
Steve (on speakerphone): ... but, I'm always optimistic of course, I really feel like sales will be picking up next quarter.
Executive (a bit hesitantly): Well it's funny you should mention that, Steve, because -
Suddenly the conference room darkens, as a giant robot appears outside the office tower. It slowly turns, and its eyes stare straight into the conference room.
Cut back and forth between the incredible robot, and the astonished faces of the executives.
Long pause.
Steve: ... because why?
Steve: Why's it funny?
Steve: Guys?
Steve: What's going on?
